Question about Hotpoint 24 in. DWF61 Built-in Dishwasher
I've got a Hotpoint DWF61. Recently the soap dispenser door has refused to close properly (it takes several attempts to get the door to stay shut).
I've had the door off to see if there's any sign of wear, but can't see exactly where the door is latching onto the blue latch/spring assembly.
I've found a door replacement catch/spring pack for £4.49 online, but would like to buy a spare door too (not the whole soap dispenser assembly).
Is this possible? Also, could someone explain how the blue door catch can be removed - does it just pull out?
THE INNER DOOR PANEL HAS TO BE DISASSEMBLED TO ACESS THE SOAP MECHANISM NO IT DOESNT JUST PULL OUT

Hey friend, thank you for the post!
I understand that your soap dispenser door will not open on your Frigidaire dishwasher, LGBD2432LW0A. You could possibly be seeing an issue with soap dispenser not getting water into it to release the soap from dispensing. I would check to make sure there are no dishes blocking or obstructing the soap dispenser. You could also remove the soap dispenser to clean it and make sure there is no buildup of any previous detergent remaining that would cause the door to not open. If those steps do not solve the issue it could be a problem with the dispenser and I would recommend having a tech come out to the home to properly diagnose and repair the dishwasher. Hope this is helpful. -Matt
