i cant connect to yahoo and google mail because the company i work for limitted the connection through a proxy that denies access.
can i connect through another site?

You might get in trouble with your company for bypassing their proxy but there are a few sites you can try:

ProxyBypass.org
BypassThat.com

Keep in mind however that if your office's proxy uses a White List as opposed to a Black List, it may not do you any good. A Black List blocks only certain websites, whereas a White List blocks all but certain websites.
