My sansa disk is froze on the refreshing media screen

This happens often with Sansa Media Players, your best bet is to delete all your songs off the device, then re-add them again. But this time have your device on hold, which is having the switch at the top of the device pushed to the right side. This will make sure nothing happens while the device is syncing.

I think I deleted a vital system file or something.

this should give you the drivers for it, you can format your mp3 player by going into My Computer and right clicking on the mp3 player and just select format

Sansa e280 freezes and can't get songs on

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Deleted songs

that's the problem with all MP3 players, when it's overcharged, it will corrupt the songs maybe because to malfuncion the system. The best solution is to redownload the songs that were lost OR if you have back up of those songs on your PC, much better..

trust me, I was experiencing on that before..

Refresh data base freezes

If your SanDisk is locking up try holding the power button down. It will force it to shut down. If you continue to get that error you probalby need to update/reload the firmware. Check out the website. Go to the music and video link and then select forums under support. If memory serves me correctly I had to download the file to my PC and then copy it to my Sandisk to get it to load. I lost all my songs but it fixed the problem.

Frozen on Refresh Database

Take out the four screws on the back and pop out the battery then put it back on. Make sure you synced the songs properly. Add to the problem how you added your songs and I might be able to help.
Good Luck
