Webcam i m using acre aspire4710z laptop with vista. it is having inbuilt webcam which is not supporting to yahoo messenger plz help me

When ever a laptop comes with an inbuilt webcam , a default application will be provided by the manufacturer to access the cam.Search for the same and use it. You can also access the cam through control panel.
One simple way is to use a IM application like Yahoo messenger or Gtalk which support video chat , it opens up the cam automatically once you start a video chat

Webcam for vaio computer will not work with a thrid party messenger like yahoo if it is being used by another third party application.

1. uninstall any third party applications/messenger
2. reinstall the camera driver and software from esupport.sony.com
3. try to use the built in camera first by uisng its own software
4. if it will work, download and install your yahoo messenger and try to use the camera with it

first you properly install the Web Cam Software, then you open the Yahoo messenger and again access the web cam. I hope it will work fine. sometimes yahoo messenger not access to Web Cam, that time yahoo messanger not working properly.

Well the best way is through software like Yahoo Messenger, AIM, Skype, etc. These are normally called instant messengers and you can download them for free.

in your YM.. open the Messenger tool bar.. then.. My Web cam.. then.. .Preferences.. then Camera source... and select the installed webcam.. and see how it works..

You can try to first install yahoo messenger or skype or google talk.
You can use your webcam online through various Instant messengers
You can use Video chat feature of Skype , or Yahoo messenger or GoogleTalk etc
IF STILL YOUR WEBCAM DOES NOT WORK THEN YOU NEED TO CALL THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT DEPARTMENT OF THE LAPTOP MANUFACTURER

if xp then select start>all programs>accessories>compatibility wizard cos this driver was written for win 98

u have remove & reistall driver

pls check u r driver for webcam and try to locate it bypluigins ...

try yahoo massanger hear is link for u-to download yahoo massanger full version,,
