Why won't my oven ignite? Vulcan model GC04c

I have recently converted vulcan gco4c from natural over to propane gas. I have it all hooked back up and when I power it up, the blower starts up, the digital interface comes on and shows the temperature that I set it to. The valve that I regulator that I replaced(natural to propane) clicks, then there is a box that controls the electric ignition on the back that clicks. Soon afterwords the digital screen shows a Er-05 and just beeps. How do I know if the gas is being sent into the combustion chamber? How do I know if the ingiter is actually sparking? What could be my problem? Does anyone know where to download an operators manual? Thanks in advance for any help.

So now the service gas valve, the one on the front of the unit that I turn to allow gas to enter the oven is now leaking. It is a simple brass on brass turn valve. I took it apart and could not find any damage, but everytime I open the ball valve on my lead in hose, the valve leaks. Any suggestions would be great.

I can get you the error code but dont have my manual at the time.a couple things to check.do you here the clicking sound of the ignitor that ignites the gas?when you installed the regulator are you sure its on right?you should see an arrow on the regulator body and it should be pointing to the oven.also you need 10 inches of water colum (gas pressure)with a propane system where as natural you need less, regardless ill be in touch.

I have a Sears Kenmore Elite 790 hooked up to propane .. is it ok to have it hooked up to propane or is this over for natural gas only?

Kenmore Gas ranges can be used with Natural gas or Lp. They come from the factory set up for Natural gas so if you want to use Lp it needs to be converted by you or your gas company. There are several adjustments that have to be made and some ranges require orifices to be changed. Your installation manual tells how to convert it but if you're not sure about doing it you would be better off the call the gas man.

I have a gas oven. The flame burns yellow and leaves too much soot on the wall near the flame. Is there a way to clean the element thing? Dave

I am not sure. However, people in our area of sc, have had burner problems because a local utility added propane to their natural gas because they got it a bargain. guy
