My computer recently crashed and had to get a whole new motherboard. I then went to print something and of course, my printer software is deleted. It is lost and no where to be found! What do I do? I have searched ebay for CD-ROM software, looked on Brother to find an alternative...I am out of ideas. Please someone help!

Vista has identified your printer. It loads up its default printer driver (stored in vista OS) in your new computer. This usually have the basic features only. You need to run again the CD to install or enable the added features of your said printer. If you have lost the CD you can do an alternate option by downloading the software on this link. ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/united-states/pse/hppse22.214.171.124enu.exe
For the the CD that was crumbled inside your cd-rom. You can try to pull out the CD from the Tower casing and try yo maually open the CD rom unit itself. Or may i suggest that you can buy a new one. (CD/DVD roms are cheaper now a days)
The causes of CD crashing inside your CD rom;
1. wrong placement of CD/DVD disc 2. Hardware failure of the CD/DVD roms
Call Konica support and they can guide you through the process. Depends to some extent on your network connection, i.e. ethernet or usb.
Using the keypad on the printer, you will have to establish an ip address on the printer so the computer can find it and the printer can find the computer. There are several ways to set it up, however.
This is also outlined in the cd-rom users guide.
But once you have your network connected and the computer network is set up for print and file sharing, get a Bizhub support tech on the line and he'll walk you through it in 5 minutes.
