Remove the heater, if its tearing clothes a piece must be poking through, just pull it out.

Whirlpool washer rips my clothes and wash rags

Worst case. The usual cause of this is that the drum bearings have callapsed and there is now a lot of "play" between the wash drum and the outer drum catching the washing inbetween them as the drum turns. This would be accompanied by a a very loud noise.
Best case. clothes gaurd has broken and tearing at the washing at the drum turns.

How can I remove a bra wire trapped inbetween the two wash drums?

You could remove the Sump hose at the bottom of the drum and pull it out just depends where it is , Alternatively remove the heating element this will give a good view within the drum ..Normally it sticks here anyway......

Hello my Wirlpool washing machine makes a scratching noise when the drum is turning during the wash. The noise disappears however when the washing machine is spinning. Would it be worn out bearings?

You would hear the bearings in the spin cycle if it was them ....it would sound like you are at the airport...you will probably find that a bra wire has caught itself inbetween the drum and the tub and is scratching as it goes around.

Bra wiore inside drum

HAVE YOU A GOOD BRIGHT TORCH? IF SO I REMOVED MINE WITH A TORCH IN MY TEETH & A SMALL FLAT ENDED SCREWDRIVER, IF YOU CAN SEE IT TURN OFF ALL POWER TO THE MACHINE FIRSTLY THEN USING THE SMALL SCREWDRIVER COAX THE BRA WIRE TOWARDS THE NEAREST HOLE IN YOUR DRUM & THEN FEED IT THROUGH AS BEST AS POSSIBLE & THEN GRAB IT WITH EITHER FINGERS OR PLIERS IF IT IS A STRUGGLE TO PULL IT OUT.
DONT LEAVE IT IN THERE & THEN OPERATE IT AS IT WILL JAM IT & BLOW YOUR EXPENSIVE MOTOR WHICH ARE APPROX £80 OR HIGHER & YOUR PUMP IF IT JAMS IN THE BLADES BEFORE REACHING YOUR FILTER ..

Can i take apart the drum somthing keeps tearing my clothes

The best access to inside the tub is through the lid/door. Going in through the back will not give you any better access.

If the wire is tearing yur clothes, maybe you can see the end of it poking through a hole. If you can, put a pair of vise grips on the end of the wire and try pulling it back through the hole.

Bra underwire stuck

Switch off machine and unplug it from the wall socket. Remove back plate and identify the heating element. It should be located at the bottom of the outer drum. Remove element and you will have limited access to the space between the drums. Rotate the drum slowly by hand untill the bra wire gets to the bottom of the drum. Remove obstruction with hook or long tweeser.
