Question about Nikon Coolpix S3 Digital Camera
Camera failed after limited use. out of warranty, sent to nikon, they say it may be the image sensor. want $104 to fix. will only warrant fix for 6 mo. I have seen other posting with similar problems. I think Nikon should recall or fix the bad units. coolpix seems like a loser.
I think this model has issues. my unit was not used much. the fix cost will put the camera cost at over $450, I do not think it is worth it. I have had much better service from Cannon and Kodak , these units have taken use and abuse and keep working for years.
I agree with you, although I would not rely on Kodak. I find their digital products don't stand up to much. Based on what I see come through my digital lab, I recommend Canon, Casio and Sony
