Computer making noise

I was online and my computer started making a clacking noise ( like an altoid in a tin rattling around) when i tried to close the windows and sign off everything froze up and i had to hold the power button to shut the computer off. after allowing some time for the computer to sit i tried to turn it on and it is still making the noise and will not load windows, i get a quick glipse of a message that says there was a problem detected and it was being shut down to protect the computer from any damage.

Monitor clicks, pops, or makes other noises. Issue: Monitor clicks, pops, or makes other noises.
Cause: This issue could be caused by any of the below possibilities:

  1. Monitor degaussing.
  2. Monitor changing resolution.
  3. Monitor syncing with the video card.
  4. Monitor warming up.
Solution: Noise when turned on or off It is normal for standard computer CRT monitors to make a click, pop, crackle, hum, buzz, or other type of noises when they are first turned on or turned off.
Noise when monitor goes into standby mode When the monitor enters a "standby mode" or "power savings mode" this is similar to the monitor being turned off. It is completely normal for the monitor to make a noise when the monitor enters this mode.
Noise when opening Microsoft Windows or other operating system or when opening a game When a computer opens its operating system, for example, a computer opening Microsoft Windows or when a user runs a computer game it is very common that the monitor will need to switch its resolution of the operating system or game. When switching resolutions it is normal for the computer monitor to make some type of noise and/or for the computer monitor to flick or flash.
Noise during normal operation If the computer monitor click, pops, or flashes while it is being used this is not normal operation. It is very likely that the monitor may be failing or a component within the monitor has already failed and could also potentially be a fire hazard. We highly recommend that the monitor be repaired, replaced, and/or looked at by a qualified technician.

Acceleration noise engine

if the noise sounds like nuts in a tin can rattling around then it will be detonation . It is spontaneous combustion from air /fuel mixture that is to lean and timing out of adjustment ( normally too far advanced). If it is heavy knocks that is same as engine rpm increase the it may be bearings.

Car turns on and rattles then at idle it stops but press the gas it starts rattling again

Providing the oil level is okay, it's likely a dead spark plug or wire. I'm not sure what kind of rattle you're talking about. A real quick "clack clack " , as in starving for oil, or do you just mean shaking and running bad, as in a dead cylinder?

Screeching sound at the back of engine at the top of head

Check all the bolts and fastenings for the heat shrouds around the exhaust manifold to make sure they are there (and firm). If you can undo them without snapping them, take the shrouds off to check for gravel trapped in that area. It could also be a failing cat converter, but a lot less likely. My next step would be to remove the rocker cover and have a look......

NES color scheme is wrong

Open up your NES , and take the metal shielding off. Get a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol and clean the inside connections (zero friction connectors). Then clean the contacts inside of the game itself. Put the game in an press it down, use another game to hold the game inside of it all the way down (i dont know if there will be anything to hold it down without the top on....but you should get the idea once you have the top back on.

That should do the trick. The inside connections get dirty after time. I keep rubbing alcohol and and altoids tin hand. To clean the contacts and hold down the game. (the altoids tin let you close the lid so you look less ghetto.)

I have 6 NES's. and they all had similiar problems. They just needed some love and care

if that doesnt work, go to www.benheck.com a very enthusiatic classic videogame board.
