Question about Creative Labs Zen V MP3 Player

My mp3 seems to be frozen

It was working fine today, I plugged it into the computer to put more music on it and it seems to be frozen. there is a what appears to be a lighting bolt through the battery icon, and it says docked on the screen. When I unplug the usb cable it still says docked and still has the same icon, but will not do anything.

If you have the instruction manual get it and see if theres a way you can reset it. like on an ipod you hold the center button and it reboots much like when you hold the power button on your computer. hope this helped

Zune frozen with logo

Let the battery drain completely and then plug into computer. There was a leap year glitch from Microsoft and the fix is working today. Ours froze yesterday and it's OK this morning. This only fixes those that froze Dec. 31st.

Music won't play

Some music services have a fixed-term license that they put on the songs - you may have to resychronize the Sansa to the computer AND the music service to regain playability. Alternatively, you could have a corrupt DB already - sad, but possible. The good news is that you can fix a corrupt DB by downloading the Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisk's website. Good luck!

I was trying to upload some new music for my friend on her NEXTAR MP3 player. It was full, so I deleted her old music, and put the new music on. All seemed fine until I tried to listen. Now when I turn...

Make sure the songs are in the right format (and that they didn't come from Limewire or Morpheus). Reformat the player to wipe all of the songs off there at once.

Help!!!!! My philips SA3125/02 isnt working!

Reset will NOT delete all your music, but the permanent fix that you need to prevent this from happening again will delete all the songs. Reset, and see if it works. But it might freeze up on you during vacation. You will have to keep pushing reset until you get home and have more time for the permanent fix.

Computer wont recognize mp3 player

Hmmm when you plug it in to put music on it do you use the sync manager thing? thats what i use and sometimes it says theres no player connected even though there is, so i just keep plugging and unplugging until it works.. but then if that doesnt work i just go to  "Zen v series media explorer" it like lets you upload music there too.. hope you find something that works!

Frozen on Refresh Database

Take out the four screws on the back and pop out the battery then put it back on. Make sure you synced the songs properly. Add to the problem how you added your songs and I might be able to help.
Good Luck
