Your tv has become magnetized the easiest way is to find a deguasing coil to demagnetize it however only services shop usally have those! you can try unplugging and turning set back on several times to see if that will clear it up as sets have a built in deguasing setup good luck from television tech!

I have a curtis lcd1922a flat screen tv and all it does is green light flashes. No picture no nothing. Can you help.

the green light flashing is showing a fault code.
Due to the dangers of these TV's, I would advise you take the unit to a professional.
These TV's can no longer be repaired to component level and entire circuit boards may need to be replaced..
Dont risk a severe electric shock..have it looked at by a professional.

Your model has a maximum resolution of 720p. What you might want to do is make sure that both your cable/sat box and game stations are outputting at no more than 720 resolution. It's easy to assume that all HDTVs may accept a higher signal, and while they might, some of the scene changes or handshakes may make that operation cause the symptoms you describe.

Screen Widens Out Constantly

you might be getting more supply from regulated power supply if you get wide pictureor width have to be adjusted by width control. but if it stretchs out & lose some of the picture on the right and left edges it might be due to horizontal output section. 1 loose contact in connector. 2 some capacitor might be defective in h/section caution please do not open the set unless you know about high voltage in tv set.

using a dmm check the resistors on the kine board. the small board on the back of the picture tube. you sould find an open resistor. if i remember correctly, if looking at the back it would be on the bottom of the board & about 180k ohm. if you have a difficult time finding it, look for the same type/color of parts on the small board to make comparrisons. between parts. you sould have 3 of most parts, one for each color. good luck.
