Question about Panasonic (KX-TG1032S) Phone
Panasonic KX-TG1032S - Base phone and 2 extensions in home. Phone at base unit in bedroom works fine. One extension is in room directly below the base unit, putting it about 12 feet from the base. When using this one, the reception is good for the person using the phone. However, the person on the other end of the line cannot hear you because your voice keeps breaking up. The only solution the instructions offer is to tell you to move closer to the base unit, which is not possible in this situation. I solved this problem by plugging my wired phone back in. The other is in the kitchen on the same floor as the base unit in the bedroom, but at the other end of the house, about 50 feet away. The same problem occurs when using this phone, until you walk to about 25 feet from the base unit and then the problem clears up. What is wrong here?
Sounds like you have some interference within your home. Causes of this are wireless interenet, microwaves, radios, stereos, baby monitors etc. Pretty much anything that uses a wireless connection or antenna. These sorces of interference are intermittent depending on if they are being used, where they are located, how much power they use and their type of signal/channel. Try moving the base(s) around your home to get a better, clearer reception If your phone is equipped with a channel/frequency selector try changing or adjusting it and see if that helps.

Hey sorry about that expert he/she is possibly missing a few brain cells or a brain for that matter.. But the idea of foil to boost recepton inst a bad one at all,,
Ok firstly there must be a ranger specified in the distance the wireless phones dhould work from, If its in the specified range but dont work there are a few possible causes..
1.) Interference,, does it do this all the time , or just when certin things are in use, like your blender, microwave, refrigators.. Basicall all eletronic devices emmit electromagnet waves which wil cause interference.. If you got it close to the fridge or where so ever close by or on one i suggest you try it somewhere else..
2.)Defective Product.. IF it isnt interference, and you got warrenty the first thing i recommend is taking this item back.. If you havent any warrenty you still have a few options..
You can take it in to a service tech to let him try to figure out whats wrong with it.. (VERY UNLIKELY HE CAN FIX THIS SINCE THESE ITEMS ARE CONSIDERED DISPOISABE AND THEREFORE ARE MADE WITH MICRO CIRCUITS).. Or you can ask him if he can add transistors to help boot the signal, most often this inst possible on certin items..
3.) Sometimes A low or defective battery also can cause this problem, you might want to have a look at this as well..
BUT as i will strongly recommend to you, Try looking for a source of interference and if there isnt any then have a look at the batterys.. If not it will deffenately be most fesible to purchase a new one..
If there are any changes or anything else you would like to ask please by all means post it here and i shall reply as soon as possible..
