Hi, my printer keeps giving me a cartridge error.

Check the default paper settings in the printer sofware, if they are correct then problem may be internal.
You dont mention whether it prints OK though.

Hello sir; Your machine need to reset; turn power on, open the cover when cartridge carrier move to the center ,the UNPLUG the power cord wait about a minute put power switch in off position, then plug in power, turn switch on.

What's the sollution without having to buy new cardrigdes?

Try pulling the cartridge out and re-install a couple of times, also check to see if everything is clean inside printer, paper scraps can get into things and cause trouble

Hello Dear; When you install new cartridge the machine going to alignment it is neccessary you just follow the direction step by step to finished the procedure.

You could try to get out of this mode
Press & hold SETUP than press COPY OPTIONS

Hello tabbeach. The printing cartridge align page message appears if u have any alignment job pending, if it asks to print the alignment page. Follow the steps provided here.
Still if u are facing the same issue, perform a HP Media sense caliberation , which in most cases will resolve the issue

check ur cartridge if they have ink left, or replace new ink cartridge.

The cartridge was somehow jammed, I helped it a bit manually.
After changing the cartridges, color and black, some error messages where shown in the display like, check the cartrige or similar.

Hi there, Try this steps, -Turn off your PC -Turn on your printer -Remove your cartridges -once removed pul the power plug on the printer -clean the contacts with dumped alchohol 70% solution on cotton buds -once dry enough re-insert your power cord on the printer -insert your new cartridges -let your printer initiallize =================================== hope this helps let me know ok?
