Zone 1 sound bleeds into Zone 2... (by 2 users)

posted by skitzo on Jan 16, 2008

I can't control the volumn of zone 2 and yet there is sound coming from the speakers even though zone 2 is turned off. the first indication of an issue was I normally have 5.1 since I don't have middle speakers, but now I have only 7.1 showing in my selector and when I hit the 5.1/7.1 switch, it only has the 7.1 option. we had a snowstorm yesterday and lost power for a little bit and it flickered when it came back on. is there a fuse or something inside that would cause this? the thought of tearing this thing down and drop it off somewhere has me worried. I wouldn't even know where to take it. (and yes, it is all plugged in to a surge protector strip)

Thanks in advance.

Dwayne
