remove all external devices and try again does it beep at all?
Comment by ctf1800, posted on Jan 04, 2008 the modem/lan minipci module is faulty. from there you have that error messages and also from here you can't access your lan and again (guess) you don't have sound. very strange but true.
what you have to do is to remove the lan/modem minipci card (baterry to the right) and everything you be OK.
and if I remember correct the spare part number is: F2300-60914.
if that doesnt work try this:
entered the bios setup utility and changed the settings for the parallel port to simple port ( no ECP no Bi-directional)
this way it saves resources for the mini pci card that reports the conflict

Try to refer this problem to your manufacturer/ store owner of your laptop because most probably its either your memory(RAM) or your video card needs to be reset.it may have loose their connections.

because in the desktop PC's, these are the common problems especially upon booting up your computer.

How or where do i get a windows 7 boot download to copy to disc to sort my omnibook xe3 out it currently has win98se installed but thirs allsorts missing.

Upgrade the memory and try win xp you'll see better performance. You can download win 7 from lots of places free.

It is the license that you have to purchase that people seem to be trying to find a get around for.

Just go to Microsoft website or search for win 7 iso

Good luck and thanks
