Re: loading videos to ipod nano 3rd generation

IPod Nano accepts only MP4 format video, please make sure your video is compatible with iPod Nano. If your vide is MP4 video, please follow these steps:
1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.
2. plug in your iPod Nano to computer, then iTunes will detect your iPod Nano as a device.
3. Select your iPod Nano device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

If your video isn't MP4 format, you need third party software to convert video to MP4. You may try an iPod converter developed by Aimersoft; it can convert videos to iPod Video and iPod Nano, iPod Touch and iPod Classic with fast conversion speed and excellenrt output quality, that's really good for me, you can have a try, here is its official download link
Hope it helps.

Mpeg 4 format will work on Nanos. In fact I record my video podcasts in that format. I can give you the link to test it.

Be careful of anything encoded into a different format other than Mpeg4. You might be able to see the video but the audio will not play due to the fact that the Ipod can't read the encryption.

Ipod 8gb will not load

Reboot your Ipod by pressing and holding down the center button while holding down the menu button. Then put your Ipod into Itunes. If it still doesn't work, press the restore button to delete your Ipod and restore it to factory settings.

It could be that the interface on the IPod is bad or the IPod cable is bad. I would try another cable to see if that fixes the problem.

Ipod nano 3rd generation and 1st generation nano

The first question I'm not sure. Is that the wireless network system that works with the wall outlets for power and networking?

The answer to the second question is No. You can only transfer playlists from ITunes into the IPod. Make sure your playlists are created in ITues before transferring.

Loading music

You need to use iTunes to load music on your iPod.

The Mass Storage area is separate from the iPods music storage area. It will not play music files that are loaded into the Mass Storage area.

iTunes is free from Apple.
