The Washer seems to continually leak.

Whenever we finish a load there seems to be water on the floor, we can't see where it is leaking from.

I have the same problem with my GE. It is leaking from several bolts on the bottom. I was able to tighten them the first time but it does not seem to help now. Is there some sort of seal that needs to be replaced?

Intermittent water on floor

Check the inlet valve hoses, even if inlet is at the back, the water may drip down and flow on the front part on the machine. There you also have the PUMP, a faulty pump may leak intermittently.
Here you get all diagrams and parts for your appliance.

Water leaking out of the bottom

Sounds like the main bearing has gone bad and that is causing you to loose water on the floor. There is also a rear seal back there that will need to be replaced
