It may be a pain in the rear to do, but if there are buttons on the tv itself, you may be able to manually program./adjust the colors from the tv buttons. there should be one that will get you to menu and then select appropriate one to adjust contrast. other than that you will have to contact the mfg to request another remote, or refer to owners manual to see if it can be done. outside of this, if you know anyone else with the same tv, borrow their to adjust YOUR tv...

i correct grid will look all white. all colors aligned up.
you should be able to move the lines with the remote. and you cant burn anything out by doing convergence.

All the controls should be accesed thru the on screen menu,your remote should have a menu or display button and if you press it on the screen of the tv you should see a list of different options ,I am not familiar with the kind of menu that your set has but I know the color adjustment should be in the same screen that allows you to change the brightness,shapness,tint,color and contrast,the more you use the menu and become familiar with it the easiest it will be to use.Let us know if you need more information.
