I have an aftermarket remote control for this tv and do not have the orginal remote either.the aftermarket control is broken , how do i get the tv to switch on. i have tried to press the program buttons up and down on the tv itself but still not switching on. green light is on and thats all.

    would buying an all in one remote work? as i have read that if the tv is not fully on with a picture and on standby this will not work if i code it in?

    my fault need for that need to get remote made for your name brand tv ck radio shack or electronic surplus for one that has all the functions for that tv thank for letting me answer question properly

Buy a univesal remote control, which have setup codes for LG tV. You can get this information from the catelogue accompanied with the remote control. There will be proceedings also to setup the remot to tV. Or get its orginal remote control from the authorised service center for LG at your town.

How change picture setting without remote
Hello
Unforcuately Sharp ahs not provided a MENU button on the front panel of your TV. Therefore you can't adjust its picture control. Contact the nearest Sharp authorised serive center, gove them the model number of your TV, and try to get an orginal one. Insist on orginal, not a universal remote. OK.
