Problem with Petzl Myo XP LED Headlamp

my myo xp headtorch has suddenly stopped working. As the bulb can't be replaced, how do I fix it?

Very strange. Mine just suddenly stopped working last night as well. I have changed the batteries, but it makes no difference.

I experinced the exact same problem and found after stripping it down that the red and black 1mm cables inside the 6mm black outer sleeve close to the actual headlamp are split in several places and the copper core has broken. I attempted a repair but found more breaks further towards the battery compartment.
This could be a design fault as the cable seems to fail under normal use.

    • I've had similar problems with other Petzl headlamps and now my MyoXp is dead. This seems to be a problem with Petzl headlamps with the external battery
