Check the DVI connections on your computer and your monitor. It is possible that there is not a good connection. Do you have access to another working monitor? If you connect a different monitor, and that monitor comes up, it could be the DVI cable or a bad monitor itself. If neither monitor comes up it could be a bad video card or port, or the computer may not recgonize it under Properties, Display, then settings when you right-click on the monitor, if you are using it as a second monitor.
Sorry for getting back with you Sergio 61. I've been very busy lately. I am afraid to say that I lack the knowledge of the internal workings of the monitor to provide a solution to your comment. If the monitor is still under warranty, I would look into sending it back for a replacement which I am sure you already know that.

To JSShears, monitor is not connected to the PC right now, all connectors disconnected from the monitor. It only has a power cord connected. There is no menu on the screen and the screen is black. It is clear that the problem is with the power supply of the monitor. The question is what I need to change to fix it and if it has any internal fuse or not.
