Question about D-Link AirPlus DI-524 Wireless Router
One port (3rd) of my dlink di-534 router is not working - it has a slow intermittent blink but when connected to a PC nic, the PC will not pick up any IP address etc. I have moved a working device into that port and it then stops also so that eliminates dodgy set up and cable.
Is there a setting on the router I could check ??
All other ports are working just fine !!
My guess is that this port is just plain old dead. When you really need an extra port you could consider picking up a cheap ethernet switch. Repairs are not done because of the time an money involved vs the cost of a new one. When it's still in waranty you could always return it to the shop. Ports are normally hardwired and not controlled by the software on these kind of routers.
