Garmin 310 sat nav ~ "Full Memory"

Hi there,

I am using a Garmin 310 about 14 months old. when calculating ANY route it gets to 99% then posts a message informing me

"Route Waypoint Memory Full " click ok and it tells me "Memory Full"

I have reset everything I can find............. but i also still have one random address in my recent selections which keeps returning.

Help would be REALLY appreciated before i fix it with a hammer!!!

Kind Regards

Lee Chester

I swtched garmin sat nav off on the power say off by accident so now please how do i switch my sat nav on?

Simply switch it back on using the same switch. If this does not work press the reset button, see your device handbook for its location. I turn on my satnav to set the routing and after it has finished calculating the route i tend to turn it off again. When i come to unfamilliar area I turn iit back on and it picks up the satalites faster and carries on from that point. You should be able to turn on and off at will anyway.

How do i unlock my garmin nuvi 310 deluxe

If you have a PIN number on your device you will have been asked to set a security location. When you are at your security location or within approximately 50 metres of your security location the device will unlock without the PIN number.

Wont calculat route

sat nav needs a valid gps signal to start calculating route, even if it found entered address. Address is searched on built-in map, not live gps position. That means, sat nav may have problem with gps signal. Try to reset device to its factory settings first. hope this helps

Routing my garmin 255w sat nav

You should be able to set your journey "via" a specific place. Im not sure it wil work with via m5 though. I just let it rerout itself when I get on the m5. The other option is to plan your route "avoiding" ceretain places. Is there an option to save your route if you travel that way?
