Sharp AR-157E digital copier

F2 flashing on display , add
Toner light flashing and when I press the print button an 04 is displayed . What does it all mean and can I fix it or reset it ? Thanks Steve.

Thanks doctorx for your suggestion , I dont see a chip on the cartridge , will try another cartridge , thanks .

The AR-157 has a chip on the back of the toner cartridge, you would need to check and make sure it doesn't have toner on it, or replace the cartridge, it is probably defective.
