Can't Record

Hi sorry but my problems with Acid 4 I'm hoping it's similar. I just got a USB record Player to transfer vinyl and yesterday used Acid Pro to record it in. Today it will only record for a few seconds everytime, I presume I've change a setting somewhere it worked fine yesterday. Any Suggestions please.
