Question about Sony NW-HD5 MP3 Player
Hard drive on laptop had to be replaced. I have tracks on Sony MP3 player how do I transfer them back onto new laptop hard drive, or even USB flash drive. I have all the Sonicstage CD software.
SONY Walkman MP3 players are incapable to transfer from the player to PC. It's a copyright thing. since your hard drive was replaced, your PC is no longer the same one that the player originally had tracks transferred from (according the the MP3 player). So, ultimately, those tracks will remain on the player until you remove them, they cannot be transferred back to a PC. I understand the annoyance, it's a pointless function, but for some reason, it has importance to SONY.
