If you're using windows try using window's built in scanning camera wizard (this worked perfectly for my psc 1315). Go to Start -> settings -> control panel -> Scanners and Cameras

Yes, you can and it is pretty easy.

You should get the HP Wireless Printing Upgrade Kit
(Q6236A#A2L)
Price: $69.99

Here is there product description from HP.

Get everything you need to print wirelessly in this simple upgrade kit! It includes a printer receiver and PC receiver for a wired desktop or notebook PC, and it's easy to both install and use.
Works with most HP printers and All-in-Ones, plus all PCs, wired or wireless.

* Print from virtually anywhere in your home or office via the wireless 802.11g connectivity
* Eliminate ugly cable clutter but still get the same print speeds as via USB
* Retain full all-in-one wireless functionality: print, fax from your PC, scan, and access photo memory cards access and PC status
* Set up fast: just plug the receivers into your printer and PC; there's no configuration
* Protect your signal from interception with the secure wireless connection

SOURCE: Ink Cartridge Alignment

On alignment sheet, do you see a line of yellow blocks?
And on next line do you see alternate block and yellow blocks?

(Without these, alignment fails)

If not, change the colour cartridge, re-print the page and repeat alignment.

Good luck...

Hp 1410v won't scan

Hi,
The all in one solution software you used in XP doen't work with Vista.

But you can still scan and copy by using Windows Photo Gallery.

1. Click on files tab at the top in Window Photo Gallery.
2. Click on import from camera or scanner.
3. Highlight your scanner icon (ie HP 1410v) then click import.
4. New scan window will popup, now you can preview or scan using this basic looking Vista utility.

Hope that helps.
