Dark screen With some television shows and some dvd movies, it is so dark that it is hard to see. This does not happen with all programs, usually on ones that are shot in low lighting (night scenes, action movies)

Our Lg Plasma 50PC1DRA popped then a very dim picture

If you have the same problem with another input such as a DVD player, this TV might need attention by a qualified service technician.

The picture is very dark

Unfortunately, there is no easy fix for this. If it were a rear projection TV, I'd suggest a new bulb. Even on a Plasma there are things that can be done. But on a CRT, the repair for a dark screen usually costs more than replacing it.

When movie is playing, the screen continues to stop and go to a black screen. I took the disc out to wipe it off with a lint free towel and it's still stopping often.

I think the problem didn't come from the television.
Maybe the disc is too hard to play, this usually happen when we play an original CD or DVD.
Or your CD/DVD player already broken so it can't spin the disc.

Hope this help and RATE please !

No audio during movie (Die HArd movies)

Sometimes, the movie video suddenly gets muted during the playback and some prompt-up message shows on your screen, like "Audio outputs temporarily muted". Actually, this is caused by Cinavia Message Code 3.
