How do I get the code to my 1998 acura rl radio. I also have my radio serial #.

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

I need a code for my renault scenic cd player which went off in the cold spell.

You need to remove the radio from the dash to find the serial number on a label at the back. This radio can be decoded easily once the serial is identified but you will need to go to this site and provide the detail. The cost is £3.50 and all instructions for finding the serial are included under the Renault link.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Radio code

Check under the fuse box and on the side of the glovebox. Some dealerships will put stickers there with codes for radio and nav.
