See if the company offers a boot disk option for flashing your bios. If so make a boot disk and use their flash program. If it's just for windows then your most likely going to have to send it back to them.

Laptop beeps 7 times

Try link: http://blog.parts-people.com/2014/06/27/dell-inspiron-m501r-m5010-beep-codes-diagnostic-indicators-2/ How to identify beep codes: When a laptop or computer first powers on, it goes through an initial set of diagnostic tests to make sure vital components are preforming correctly. • Power on the laptop or restart it if it is already on.
  • Listen to the number of consecutive beeps when the computer begins to boot. Restarting the laptop may be necessary and should not harm the laptop at this time.

Mercury mother bord not loding satup manu with all f key and 'del' stop in start screen

1) Look at the bottom of the Mercury logo screen when it comes up.

2) Memorize or write down the -> enter BIOS Setup, or enter CMOS Setup key.

3) Restart the computer.

Let it go to Windows, then Start > Turn Off Computer > Restart.

Won't go to Windows? Hold down the CTRL and ALT and DELete keys AT THE SAME TIME. This will restart your computer.

AS SOON AS the monitor screen goes blank, (Windows is restarting), tap on the enter BIOS Setup key repeatedly.
Tap in 2 second intervals.

Hear a series of beeps? They are Stuck Key Error Code beeps, and you are causing them. Ignore the beeps.

Computer is off?

AS SOON AS you press the Power On button, start tapping on the enter BIOS Setup (CMOS Setup) key.

The enter BIOS Setup window goes by F-A-S-T. The above method/s will get you into BIOS Setup.

Turn on laptop and it gives the cursor and a blank screen plus a continuous beeping sound.can you tell me what's wrong? Mel

sorry to say but you have Memory or video problems

Do you know what type of bios its running ?

is it one long beep ? or just short continuous beeps ?

1 long beep is graphics card failure

constant short beeps is memory failure depending on motherbord manufacture

It can be fixed by you if its short constant beeping if its the long beep tho it isnt quite as eazy as you have to remove half of the laptop to get to the graphics card

if you msg back with the laptop model number i can look into this further for you

Dead pc

try to remove all external device connected to your computer. just leave the keyboad, mouse and monitor connected.
restart computer.
if still a blank screen
remove everything connected to your computer (mouse kyeboard and monitor) restart if nothing happens
open your computer and remove all devices (hard drive, optical drives, memory... restart,,, you should be hearing beeping sounds indicating motherboard is looking for memory. try putting back 1 memory at a time and checking all mem slot. to identify if one of the memory could be causing the blank screen. if both memory will not work try to use known good working memory. if you dont get to hear the beeping sound using a known good working memory. your memory is the problem.
give me more info
