Memory Is there a memory to retype what was already typed like a name? If so how?

If you do not have your instruction book, go to lexmark site and search for it, can usually download a copy, so you will allways have a reference.

How do you repeat what you have typed. I want to do a bunch of envelopes with out having to type it all over again when I put another envelope in the type

The action writer dosen't have a memory, You need a Wheelwriter with store,play and delete keys down the L. side of the keyboard.

How do you program the memory to store addresses?

On the L. dide of the keyboard are 3 keys, save, play and delete.
Hold the save key type an address 1 - 99 release the save key, type info., when complete press save again.

To print hold the play key and type the address. Delete works the same way.

How do I use the RePrint or Memory Function?

You didn't give the model of the WW, if it only has a reprint it is not suitable for this application as it will only retype what has just been typed. You will need a WW with a fully addressable memory (store, play and delete keys)

If you have changed the batteries the battery holder is probably corroded, take a piece of fune sand paper and clean the contacts, put the batteries in and spin them around to help them seat.

Print from memory

put mach. in NP mode
press the PRINT key ("name of file" should appear)
type the name of the file and hit RETURN key
then hit RETURN again
