Thre are several components that can make a buzzing sound, especially a bad power component or capacitor. check the capacitors to make sure they are installed in the board correctly. the stripe on the cap must line up with the white mark on the board under it. remove the back panel lay the tv down on a blanket turn it on and see if you can isolate the noise component by ear up close. and visually check for swollen capacitors the top will be pushed up round if bad if good it will be flat on top. warning if tv is less than a year old make the place you bought it replace it. so you dont void the warranty.

It can be from the power supply is not able the supply enough power due to failing components in the power supply module such as DC filter caps or loose transformer core is vibrating or from the backlight inverter transformers. You will have to take a close listen to find out exactly where the noise is generated from first.

Take it back and see if another does the same thing before you get out of the store. There's something loose in the backlight circuit, like a power inductor. They shouldn't do that.

I'm pretty sure that the buzzing sound is a not normal thing for an LCD TV. I sell Flat Panels during my spare time and it should be as quiet as a CRT types. It is more likely a defect and you should return it ASAP.
Hope this helps.

It sounds like feed back issues or maybe your rca plugs are plugged into wrong inputs it should be connected to audio output on tv and ensure the same color plug in connected to both the ins and outs on tv and audio receiver.

i think by accident you have changed the input when you went to change the volume. look for a button labeled " input" or "video" select on the remote and scroll through the various choices. you should get your picture back.

The fix to the black screen problem which is posted on Fixya has a pretty good chance to fix this too.If you have a soldering iron it costs less than $10 and will eventually have to be done anyway. The site has very good instructions, just follow them carefully.

Buzz from back of the tv

It is likely that one of the transfomers is buzzing due to heat and laminations or wire is ringing.
It should not cause any issue except annoy you. it must be replaced. or glued back down which is usually very difficult as they are wrapped and/or sealed.
Only way to find out is to open the unit and trace it down.
If it is dust buildup then you should be hearing a crackling. zzzztt sound.
