Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
I had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago! i had my iphone in my jacket, i think it must've caught a cold or something...anyway i read somewhere to hold the power and the home button until the apple icon shows up and it worked for me! try that.

If you have tried to reset your iphone and it does not work (by holding the power button and the home button down for 10 seconds) then dont panic :) -
this will tell you an easy step by sep way to recover your iphone. however everything will be wiped off your iphone apart from your contacts and your texts that were sent when you last synced your ipone but your songs and apps will automaticaly be restored by itunes.
hope this helps!! :) x

Usually if it doesn't respond after you tried the hard reset, it's a defective logic board which then would need to be replaced. if it dropped into water you may be able to clean off the waterdamage by opening it up. there is an iphone repair manual that will guide you through the steps the part is readily available on ebay.

Note: Resetting will only give a reset to all the existing settings on your iPhone; it does not delete any media or data.
