Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Open close issues.....

About a week ago, I fell asleep on the phone and when I woke up, and closed it, it didn't register. It seems like the phone cant tell that its closed anymore.... The screen doesn't clear when I close it and reopen it, and the little glass on the outside doesn't respond either.
Also I've noticed that my Clear button as well as my text messaging button don't really light up anymore since then.
Any suggestions?

I dropped my macbook pro a few weeks ago. Everything was working normally, even the cd drive, which is on the side where I dropped and heavily dented it. The worst of it seemed to be that the casing is so...

I'm going to tell you what the Apple tech will tell you, because it's true:
In many cases, the damage and the system failure do not occur at the same time. Sometimes, a customer will drop a system or spill something on it and find that the system continues to work for a while. Sometimes components can crack upon impact but the electrical and data connections may not open or short until well after the crack occurs. This can be due to flex on the system chassis or expansion or contraction with temperature change. Another example occurs when a hard drive is damaged by an impact but may continue to work at a lower standard of performance. In some cases, quite some time may pass before the unit finally fails.

Further bad news is that accidental damage is not covered by product warranty, including Applecare extended warranty, so the cost of the repair you need may be significant.

I'm sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news here, but my recommendation is that you repair or replace this computer ASAP.
