Our screen is cracked and we would like to replace it

How to take TV apart and replace cracked screen:

1. Unplug TV from wall.
2. Remove all external cables.
3. Lay TV on a soft flat surface.
4. Locate the frame screws to remove the cracked TV screen.
5. Remove the screws.
6. Remove the frame around the cracked screen.
7. Remove internal cables going from the TV frame to the cracked screen.

Take a look on Amazon for the screen and then google the term "disassemble Acer Aspire V5-571P. There are most likely videos showing how to do this.

I dropped my lg venice and cracked the screen. Is there an easy way to replace this?

You can replace the screen yourself and get it back up and running. 20 dollars for the lcd screen and 15 for the touchscreen from ebay.

The only solution for a cracked screen is to replace it, once the screen cracks the LCD is no longer good. If the player is still under warranty see if it's covered if not you can try to replace the screen yourself, but that is usually risky and the screen alone is going to be expensive, best advice is to replace the player and try to be more careful, sorry.

This screen has multiple layers of plastic before you get to the main screen, if the picture isnt affected, you've only cracked oneof the plastic pieces, these are cheap to replace
