My dell keyboard with blue tooth connection

My dell keyboard with blue tooth connection doesn't work. The batteries warning light came on even though the batteries had only recently (one month ago) been replaced. I have replaced the batteries again but now the blue light is out and nothing is happening. The mouse still works. Can someone help?

If there is no light on the Bluetooth keyboard it means there is a problem with it.

If the Bluetooth keyboard is not responding try to do the following:

1. Change batteries
2. Go to control panel
3. Click Bluetooth Icon
4. Delete the Bluetooth Keyboard
5. Click on Add new wireless device
6. Press the pairing device on the keyboard
7. Bluetooth keyboard will be detected
8. Follow the onscreen instructions

Hope this helps, Tried it several times and it works perfectly

Hi my dell vostro key board has locked ,right hand side of keyboard blue light with a lock and 9 inside it .tried everything can you help

The 9 lock key means that your Number lock key is on. The blue light usually means that your blue tooth is on. Try connecting an external USB keyboard to see if it functions normally. If so then you need to have your keyboard replaced.

Dear sir, I HAVE DELL INSPIRON E-1505. I CANT ACCESS MY BLUETOOTH. HOW DO I TURN IT ON.

Make sure the blue tooth device is seen in the device manager, and make sure you have the driver. Blue tooth is rather flaky though, and temperamental. you will not want to use blue tooth for keyboards, or mice, or anything important. You will live a long happy life using a direct wire connection to your kbd and mouse. :). But, blue tooth has its uses, and you could try reinstalling the drivers. Call the mfr for help

Wireless keyboard is blinking a blue light but nothing else is working

Normally Dell keyboard require a wireless uSB plug in that connects to your computer and there is usually a small button on both the keyboard and the end of the connector. Press them both. Normally preplacing batteries causes the connection to be disrupted.
