I have AMD SEMPHRON PROCESSOR 2800 IN WIN-XP,there was new hard disk install inplace of win-2000 in my pc,so that there was no any sound in my speaker when i play any song,and volume control properties not display of its checkbox for master,i have try to control panel and other confugration setting but volumecontrol not display the properties,so give me solutions

No it should not.

However your post does have one confusing detail - XP when installed does not reside on the motherboard but on a Hard Disk Drive. Parts of it will be loaded into memory when you boot up the PC.

If you mean that you are also installing a new Gigabyte MB under an existing installation of XP, you will probably still need the XP system disk for a reinstall of XP as it may not recognise the new MB.

If you are newly installing XP in an existing PC with the specs you mention, it should be ideal. It is best to have enough memory on board, at least 1 Gb.

Hard Disk upto 500GB capacity can be added to most of the PCs. As regards compatibility, first you have to check the motherboard for SATA Hard Disk interface as newer hard disks are SATA. Adding the hard disk has nothing to do with the processor. However, motherboard should have the connecting port/ option (such as SATA). Some motherboards support both IDE and SATA devices. Please check the motherboard for SATA Port. You may find the motherboard model/ system model and google a bit for its specification. (You have mentioned AMD Athlon XP 2000, which is the Processor not the motherboard)

If SATA is available on your motherboard, you may add Sata drives of 250-500-750GB drives according to you requirements. Otherwise you have to look for IDE hard Disk.

You have to tell us what motherboard do you have in order to get the correct audio drivers

You need to install audio drivers for it to work. Go to the manufactures website and download drivers for your pc model. You can download it for free. Install the audio driver and it will work fine after the installation.

Friend if some files wont transfer during the installation. the problems are centered to your cd installer or your optical disk drive. try change the cd installer if it is too scratchy or if your cd is good.try to change your optical disk.try use the faster one sothat you may done easily. good luck hope i helped you.pls.vote me if it helps you so that i will know.thnks.

All IDE hard disks are compatible with those items.

Sempron is the AMDprocessor targeted to the entry-level market and can be found in two platform versions: socket 462 (a.k.a. socket A), the same motherboard type used by Duron and Athlon XP, and socket 754, the same motherboard type used by some Athlon 64 processors.
If you are talking about reformatting the hard drive an a machine with this processor, make sure you have to original  install disk including the windows disk or the reinstall disk for that name brand computer. Igf you have everythingh you may go to the HD prompt,usually "C" and click on formatt.  DO not do this unless you have al the software you need as it wil clean the whole hard drive. After reformatting reinstall everything. The Sempron CPU will not be harmed.
