What I recommend you do is take a screwdriver and open the enclosure of the DVD played and look for the connecter port where the white strip was and can be connected to. But, I assume that you mean she pulled (Kids!?) the strip wire that is connected to the lens that reads the DVD's and the board of the DVD player. I have myself seen these connectors so that's what I recommend you do my friend. Hope this works and wish you luck.
Well to me this sounds like a problem you'll have to get fixed by your phone company, however if you have water damage (Which can usually be checked in the battery area by a small plastic strip. If the strip is pink or red, you have water damage. If it is white then that is not your problem)You could try to fix this by leaving your device in a bag of rice overnight. If you dropped your device, it is likely damaged and you'll have to have it repaired.
there are two reason for white screen, first the flexible strip connecting the phone is broken and second the display lcd is defective, any way it needs professional help to replace the flexible strip.
i suggest you take it to a good service centre
If its still under warranty and the white strip is undamaged you can have it replaced for $18. They will replace it no questions asked as long as the white square under the battery isn't pink or red.
Hello, This is normally a problem with the screen. It's going bad and you may have to eventually replace it. You may get a technician to confirm if with a working screen to be sure if it's the screen or the cable. All the best.
it happens mostly in flip or swap type mobiles. this is because this type of mobile contains strip that connects the display section to the other circuitry and white screen is because of strip cracking or completely breakage. so u have to repair it or change it. it will be confirmed after viewing the strip physically. get it done by yourself or a expert technician.
