Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
I have an acer tarvelmate 6291 and i am experiencing a proble with the lcd screen. The screen is automatically switched off while the computer is still on. I have to reboot every time by pressing the restart button.
Pls. go to control panel select click display, then setting under the setting advance then choose monitor then you can select your monitor configuration, if problem still there then try to checked you power supply and your hardware. or otherwise use external monitor same porcedure.stated above

You may check power settings in control panel and see if somehow the settings for your screen are set to turn off or the power settings program has been corrupted for some reasons. Although I doubt that this the case it is worth to check.
At the same time there is a need for more information about how did that start or if you have done any physical changes to the computer.
Another thing you may do is connect it to an external monitor and see if the same thing happens to the external monitor. If that is the case then I think there is something wrong with your display card.
