Question about Nokia 6708 Cellular Phone
Hi the micro wave wont affect your phone as the only place that has microwaves is inside the microwave itself as if it worked outside it would be a health risk and they couldnt sell them your problem could be that the phone has been near a speaker this will cause the problem your having and also this will happen if the phone has got wet or damp or even been dropped.
The only way to fix this problem is removing the screen from where it connects to the board and repalcing this might solve the problem but failing this then the screen will need replacing.
I wouldnt advise you to take the phone apart yourself as it has to be done in certain order and the same putting it back together also you need to earth your body out as it carrys static witch can destroy the phones chips so the best thing to do is take to repair shop as damaging the phone further could put the cost of repair above the price of a new phone
