Re: Vertical light

Yes there's a ballast. on the top of fridge where you put the lights for the sign if you remove the plastic cover there should be a couple of them there.

Light bulbs in fridge both wont come on, but worked yesterday? Don't think they both could have burnt out over night?

The switch, the ballast, starter if it uses one, any one of these items can go out seemingly overnight especially the ballast or starter. I'm betting on the ballast.

I need to replace the door bulb and the bulb above the door in my True GDM-23. What size are the bulbs and are they available in a hardware store. Thanks

The door bulb is a standard , I believe 32" t-12 newer units may be t-8, common bulb in stores. I've got an older gdm 23 and the bulb on top is a curved one , harder to find. Also these lights have ballasts that power them, they also can fail

I have hussmann 5-door with LED light two are not working i changed ballast but still not working any advise?

When LED lights refuse to come on most times it happens as a result of the light being burnt or one of the fuses which powers up the light has burnt up.Usually the LED lights are indicators of various conditions which the unit might be going through at various times. Best way out is to get an expert to check the control board for any inconsistencies. Once this is checked it should identify the real cause of the problem.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

How do I change the light bulb in a Hoover contour HE 365UF. I can't see how to take the cover off at the back of the fridge

To change the light bulb, you need to unhook the bulbous plastic cover at the top back of the fridge. You'll notice it has two oval holes on the sides. On both the left and right, place your fingers on the vertical strips of the cover directly behind these oval holes, and press inward to release the catch. At the same time, pull down and the back of the cover will swing down, revealing the light bulb.

Light flickering-it won't turn on.

starter cap in the light base. usually a silver metal or white plastic can. twist it to unlock it and pull it straight out. replace it with the exact type. you can get them at any hardware store. if your light doesn't have one, you'll need to replace the ballast inside the base. if the hardware store does not have one, you'll have to look online. try

Flourescant lights flickering

is there a ballast or a starter? if there is a starter (little silver metal or white plastic can), then replace the transformer inside the lamp housing. if there is a ballast (long black rectangle with many wires) and you replaced that and the lamp, then there must be a power drain in the unit somewhere.

Find locate of lighting ballast in 3 door BevAir cooler

Sometimes they are in the overheade space above the cooler .. if they were inside then they would have to be HO ballasts because of the temperature .. sometimes they are in the moulding strip under the lamp itself.

True 2 door light problem

I believe that unit has a ballast tucked in somewhere in the compressor compartment. It may be easier to access from the back of the unit. I don't think it has a starter.

Interior Lighting on True Refrigerator Unit

A starter may be located in the top area inside the cooler. Not all true coolers have starters. Check the connections where the light pins slide into. Also may need new ballast.
