My mp3 my lcd screen cracked how do i get another. its still under warranty as far as a year is concerned but i don't have my receipt

Warranty wont cover a cracked screen, try and find a used one on ebay that is sell as - is and replace the screen with yours.

someone sitting on it would not be covered under mfg's warranty .and none I know of have a goodwill feature included in the warranty .

Depends on the warranty and how it broke. The one year warranty written on the box is from the manufacturer. You may or may not need your receipt. Call/email the manufacturer and ask about the warranty. If the warranty doesn't cover accidents, hopefully the device broke under normal use, and you'll tell support that when you contact them.

Is this a common problem , 1 The plastic frame around my screen has a slight hairline crack FROM the bottom left corner of the screen going out . 2 Is this a concern for the laptop .


Hi,
That crack means you have a problem in the HiNGE part.
You have to bring that laptap to a tech and have them replace/repair/lubricate both hinges before it breaks the whole LCD screen support and damages the wiring leading to the LCD.
Gently close the LCD part when closing!

My screen has cracked and i can only see 25% of the screen . My phone is under warranty for 1 year . Please help.

If this is the case, then by all means, you should have your screen replaced. Normally, the warranty only covers system or hardware fault due to factory damage. But if you accidentally dropped that phone, the warranty doesn't cover it. Nevertheless, you can take it to your authorized service center and bring with you the receipt of purchase and ask whether they can provide you lesser cost for repair.

If that is the issue, problem is the Review Button that's why you cant press the back button. I believe Kodak has a way to look on the warranty of their product even if you dont have receipt. As far as I know, most of the manufacturers, base the warranty with the Serial number of the product even w/out the receipt, so with Kodak. You may call 1.800.235.6325 for assistance on setting up your camera for repair.

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

The unit with the cracked screen cannot be fixed or replaced. Physical damage will prevent even an out of warranty replacement. The other player that has a problem with the sound can be replaced out of warranty for $31. The warranty on the unit is 90 days from the date of purchase. You will need the receipt for a warranty exchange.

Cracked screen i dropped mine yesterday and the screen cracked if works but i cant see anything! please help!


The only solution for a cracked screen is to replace it, once the screen cracks the LCD is no longer good. If the player is still under warranty see if it's covered if not you can try to replace the screen yourself, but that is usually risky and the screen alone is going to be expensive, best advice is to replace the player and try to be more careful, sorry.

Probably not as a cracked display usually results from dropping or sitting something heavy on the unit.

If it just cracked under normal use, then this would be a defect and it should be covered under your warranty. The only sure way to know is to take it in and try your best to convince them that this is covered under your warranty.

FYI, the warranty is probably from the manufacturer, unless you got some extended warranty through Best Buy? Otherwise the stores responsibility varies from state to state.

You need to send it to the repair center to replace the cracked LCD screen. Please check if your camera is in warranty.
