Re: Detected before, but not after. Help me please,

Go to device manager and uninstall everything under the USB heading and restart your computer. This should reinstall all the drivers and hopefully reinstall your mouse. You may need to rerun the driver you downloaded for the mouse afterwards.

My next suggestion your be to try the mouse on another computer to make sure it is not defective.

How to install wireless keyboard and mouse drivers item no:kb5200w

  • 1 Check the information that came with your hardware for compatibility issues with the hardware specifications of the computer you are using or with Windows Vista. You can also check for compatibility issues online.
  • 2 Attach the "receiver" on the keyboard or mouse port at the back of your CPU. The receiver should come with the wireless keyboard or mouse upon purchase. Usually, it is roughly three inches wide and three inches long. The computer will alert you to install drivers once it has detected the newly attached hardware. Insert the installation CD that came with the receiver or follow the installation wizard that pops up to install the device. If you do not have the installation CD on hand, Open a web browser and navigate to the manufacturer's website for the latest driver. Download it from there and install it to your computer.

My old keyboard exchanged for the new one, does not work

You should not need any additional hardware - but you may have to install a driver (software).

If you just bought the keyboard it should have come with an installeation disc. If you don't have that you can go to the following Logitech website and peform the auto scan function (your new keyboard should be attached via USB cable.

This scan will detect the keyboard and tell you if you need any additional drivers installed.

Had someproblems with virus on computer got rid of virusreconnected to home and now mouse wont work...?

You will probably have to re-install the device drivers for your mouse. Download the drivers from Logitech for your specific mouse and copy them to a folder on your desktop.

Go to Device Manager and remove the cordless mouse from the list of devices installed. Close device manager and reboot. When Windows says it has detected new hardware, DO NOT allow Windows to install the ones it found, instead choose "I have a disk" option and point it to the folder on your desktop where you downloaded the drivers from Logitech. Let Windows install those drivers. It will over-write the old corrupted ones with the new ones. Your mouse should work afterwards.

    Razer Mamba Problem

I had this same issue when the software hung. I thought my mouse was dead(no lights, no response when plugged in on my Vista machine). The way I solved it was to goto my XP machine(this may work in Vista 32bit too but I have 64bit and didn't wanna chance it) and install the firmware update software.

After installing the software, run it and get to the screen that tells you to hold down the pairing button when connecting the mouse. Then make SURE your mouse is turned OFF via the ON/OFF switch on the bottom, then HOLD the pairing button on the bottom of the mouse and connect the USB cable. When you do this, you should see a note that XP sees a bootloader and it will want to install a driver for it. Let XP install automatically. When it is done installing the driver, click next on the software screen and it should say it sees the mouse and the UPDATE button should be green. Click it and it will update. This should work, even if it looks like your mouse is dead(no lights when plugged in and not being recognized properly).

The key parts are make sure the mouse is OFF(vai the switch on the bottom) before starting and also make sure you hold the pairing button down when connecting the USB cable. If your system doesn't see a bootloader when you connect the mouse, the update won't work properly.

    Laptop Battery Driver Download

I have never known a battery to have a driver. There are firmware updates available to the computer that can often help with battery issues. this is for support on US only. If it is a japanese computer you must go to sony japan online for support. They should have firmware and drivers available there also. Hope this helps!!
