Question about Pioneer (DVR-K15 BLACK) DVD RW Dual Layer Burner
When we play a DVD the sound is choppy. We have an HP Laptop. Can someone help?
You need to uninstall the device driver for you IDE controller and then let windows to a hardware detect and reinstall. I have had this problem before with my compaq laptop and the pioneer K15 DVD drive.

Try enabling DMA mode for this drive in the device manager.
