Re: No sound

I have the same problem but it works for about two minutes before it cuts off I think its a short in the speaker wire because I've tested everything else and it still did the same thing

Location of reset on unit

when you disconnect it from cables, it resets. But i believe that is not the problem. Check speaker cables. I think you have problem with internal power amps. They have thermal and current protection. look for short circuits on speakers or speaker cables.

My pioneer head unit cuts the audio signal to my speakers

3 things make sure all the speakers in the car have tape to avoid grounding the speakers
next make sure all wires in back of unit are taped
if all that is taped good its the amp over loading use a larger ground wire to fix this
hope this helped

No sound...

you have wires grounding out at the back of the unit. i suggest trying to completely rewire it and see how that works. its easy if youve never done an install so dont sweat it. email me if you have any questions.

Clarion DXZ655MP Speakers worked then stopped...

sounds like the ohm load of your speakers is incorrect and overloaded the amp,....check all your specs, i.e. max, min ohm load on stereo, and speakers,...this stuff is important and must be within the range allowed or stuff like your experiencing happens,'s happened to me before,.....fried my amp because i had house speakers in my van, was great for about 3 loud days,....good luck, cracklin joe,.......

Static thru speakers at mid-high volume all the time

Your head unit may not have a common ground for the speakers. If you have two wires for each speaker coming from the head unit, rewire the speakers for a floating ground, that means two wires per speaker, or use a floating ground adaptor. These radios now a days are NOT like the radios in the hay days of care audio. If you already did not cause any damage to your unit, you certainly will if you continue to use it the way it is hooked up now. Good Luck
