Toshiba Regza 46 flat screen LCD 2 years old that has gone bad. Initially started with double (multiple) images that got better with warming up. Now its all vertical and horizontal lines Sound is ok. WArming up results in going completely white screen. Is this fixable and is it reasonable price to fix it. I paid $1000 for the unit. jha

What year was the TV manufactured? What model is it?
If its manufactured in 2008 get back with me.
I have a failing LCD panel and am starting a class action lawasuit against Toshiba becuase there is a high number of failing units built during this time that Toshiba is not addressing and their customers are not being herd... well I am going to make them listen!
let me know if you want to be part of this activity.
Diana, did you ever find a solution? My Toshiba (same model) is about 2 years old and it started getting these 4 horizontal lines spaced pretty far apart and a double image at bottom. When I lightly tap the top of the TV, they went away. But now that is not working. Please let me know. Thanks. Jeff
I
have a toshiba regza 32hl67 LCD tv which is only 2 1/2 years old. The
picture on this unit just started to go the other day (screen darkens
but images are still visible and the motion/movement is very slow). I
contacted Toshiba and they just said to unplug the tv for 3 minutes to
reset the tv. This doesnt work. I am VERY upset with Toshiba, after
paying $800 for a tv that only lasted 2 1/2 years. If anyone has had
similar issues and know how to fix it, please let me know. Thanks
The only logical solution for the problems people are having for the toshiba regza's tv's is to get into a class action law suite..., they contiue to sell tv's with defective parts and refuse to help the customer that spent large cash to find out they last if your lucky 2.5 years, they are junk and anyone with one will soon find out./.......
