    You were right.

Thank very much for your assistance!!

How is your USB device configured?

This is what you must do in order to make your PS3 recognize another hard drive/USB stick.

    1. Make sure all files are back upped somewhere.
    2. Use a PC to format your stick/drive to FAT32.
    3. Create the following folders in the drives root.

    PICTURE
    MUSIC

    PS3
    VIDEO

    4. Place all music files directly in the MUSIC folder, do not use subfolders below MUSIC such as "MUSIC/Artist/Album. The PS3 doesn't understand subfolders.

Do the same for pictures of video files, but use their folders.

Make sure you don't use files bigger than 2 GB's.. They will not be displayed.

About the themes, create a subfolder in the PS3 folder called THEME. Put the p3t files in there.

True.. The folder structure used for the PS3 is slightly different from the one used on the PSP. I don't really know why.

Did you manage to get the Audio files to work as well?

Glad I could help.

Would you please rate my advice?

Is there a way to transfer songs from an Ipod classic into itunes in 2016.

iPod users will find that when they connect their iPod to computer, the computer will recognize their iPod but won't display the music file in the window. Actually, the music files are just hidden by the computer, and the users only need simple steps to unveil the music files. Then they are allowed to transfer music from iPod to iTunes.

1. Plug iPod into computer via USB cable, then the computer will show iPod in "Computer".
2. Go to "Tools > Folder Options", and then choose "View" in the pop-up dialog.
3. Check "Display hidden files and folders" in the drop-down menu.
Then you will find a folder called "iPod_Control".
4. Open that folder and you will get the "Music" folder which includes all of your iPod music files.

You are able to copy and paste the files from iPod to your computer, but you will find that the music files are saved in a random order. At this moment, you can launch iTunes, and go to "Add > Add Files to Library", and then add the music files into your iTunes library. iTunes will sort the music files by a certain order. Now, the music files you have chosen will be stored in iTunes.

Plug your usb pen into a usb slot on your computer,
open 'My computer' from your start menu or desktop,
Select your usb drive by double clicking it to open it,

Open itunes and right click on the song you would like to transfer,
click on 'show in windows explorer' This will then open up the musics file location,
have your usb drives window open in another screen and drag and drop the music file from its location the the usb drive, it will tell you how long is left of transfer, once finished transferring the notification of transferring wil then stop and close.

Select multiple music files to transfer by highlighting them and right clicking any one of them and then again completing the steps above.

How do I get it to work on my Ps3

Hi Damian, if you can't read any file from it it's because it's probably format as NTFS. You have to format it as FAT32 otherwise PS3 won't read anything from it.
Also, you have to create two partitions on it because PS3 won't read anything bigger than 512 GB. When you got it to fat32 go to MOVIE, PHOTO or MUSIC and hit the triangle button in order to display your files.

Need to know how to put musics on my ps3 and how to do it safely w/o puting a virus on it

I find the easy way of doing it is downloading the music mp3 files from your computer then putting them onto a cd or usb stick. Scan the CD or USB stick for viruses. If there are none simply insert the CD or plug in the USB key.

Adding music from your ipod to your PS3

You cannot transport files from your iPod to your PS3. You can use a USB flashdrive, SD Card, or Memory stick though.

PS3 auto-detects my flash drive, go to the music section highlight your flash drive and hit Triangle. And then click on Display all. When you find the song you want, hit Triangle again and click on copy.

Done!

I just bought a Kyocera mp3 phone and i also had to by a 2gb memory card but now i dont know how to load the musicto the memory card

  1. Plug the USB cable into the outlet on the phone. There is not a universal USB cable to fit all phones, so be sure you use the right cable for your phone. If you do not have a USB cable, go to a cell phone store and buy one for your specific cell phone. Plug the other end of the cable into an open USB slot on your computer.
  2. Open "My Computer" or "Computer" from your Start menu. Your computer should automatically detect the cell phone. Double-click on the cell phone's icon in the open window.
  3. Open the folder you saved the music in. Right click on the music file or files you want to place on the phone. To select more than one file, hold down the Control key while you click on the files you want to transfer to your cell phone. Select "Copy" from the menu that pops up when you right click the highlighted files.
  4. Click in the cell phone's folder window opened in Step 4. Right click in the middle of the window and select "Paste" from the menu you are given. This automatically starts to transfer the files to your cell phone. Once the transfer is complete, remove the USB cord and listen to the music on your phone.

PS3

The PS3 cannot recognize every drive. There are a few dependencies on that one.

1. The drive must be FAT16 or FAT32.
2. It needs the following folder structure. In the root of the disk/stick must be:

PHOTO
MUSIC
VIDEO
PS3

The music must be directly in to the MUSIC folder. If you add even one subfolder it won't recognize it. (for example: \MUSIC\Artist\File.mp3)

I hope this helps. Please rate!

Greetings,

DarkNeogen.
