Hi there
I have a Windows Vista Basic based system. Recently I purchased a mobile broadband connection. It came with a ZTE MF622 USB Modem without any driver CD. Now my Vista is not recognizing this device and asks me to insert the driver CD whenever I plug in the device in my system.
Can somebody tell from where I can get the drivers for the same or how to work around this problem?
Hi
As a solution to this issue I just copied the setup file from the USB modem to another PC which was recognizing the device and copied the same on my PC. Then I ran the PC which also installed the drivers. Now although my system doesn't recognize the device, still when I run the application (installed by the setup) used to connect to net, the modem works fine. Kind of a work around I guess but works.
The modem comes with the software built in and should be regognised as a drive once installed. Do you have plug n play enabled? You then install from the Drive!
Best wishes! Mine reboots my Vista pc or displays " the system couln not open the phone book file" or the usb modem cannot be found! Works well on my other Vista pc and well on the XP Laptop.

As an adhoc solution you may try to download drivers for XP SP2, tell the driver installation applet to search for drivers from the folder you downloaded them to when it tells you this driver was not made for Vista tell it to install them anyway. It may not work but as this manufacturer is no longer in the modem biz vista is not supported by them at this time.

My friend has a similar problem. she has the cd but she has a VISTA Chinese version. it appears that the install CD is not readiable be the OS.
I have also purchased this modem, I have the disk but the modem is supposed to install on its own !!!! however this isn't happening ( like everything else with vista ) it keeps asking for a set up disc.
no drivers
I have the same problem with ZTE MF622 USB modem but instead it recognizes it as a CD ROM drive and when it does the software cant find the modem. It worked before but after restarting Vista it goes back to being a CD ROM Drive

When i connect my Panasonic Viera tx-p50u30b to my PC all I get is a black screen on the TV.
Windows recognizes the TV, it's using the plug and play driver, I have tried A few of the other Panasonic drivers that's in windows, with no luck.
I have updated everything, it used to work on this PC with the Same operating System.
I normally have to monitors setup on my PC which have their own drivers from Microsoft.
The TV works perfectly with my laptop using the same operating system.
Trying to connect with HDMI.
