Re: pioneer htd520

There most likely is a problem with the DVD manurfacturing. Alot of DVD's have similar problems. Many times the you could ask Pioneer Tech Support and they have a list of DVD's that are causing problems with certain players.

Sa-mt1, picture freeze after ab 50 min-1h,than stops;

First of all,if you are using rental dvds, there might be scratch which your dvd player might have an issue to read it;however,if you have tried many dvds in this player and you are having this issue, it is time to move on to another dvd player.
I recommend a Pioneer dvd player.

Help getting sound from New Sony LCD Television Model XV HTD520 DVD Player with Surround Sound S HTD520

While I could not find it in the manual, I found that you must
go to the menu, open Sound Options and set Speakers to "Fixed".

Note: If you turn off the Surround Sound or DVD player combination you must then go back to the menu and turn the speakers back to Televsion.

Won't turn on

Try to unplug your system for 5 mins and plug it back into the wall. Also if there is a reset button or hole behind the player try sticking a paper clip in that hole while it is still plugged into the wall until the power light goes red or off.

These should reset things on your system
