Re: lcd

What do you mean by power problem? if its with your power cable then check for the pins if they are intact and you might try replacing your power cable. \

if you mean that the LCD itslef doesnt power on, you might as well bring it to a service center since it might have a blown fuse or capacitor.

hope this helps

May lcd monitor dell not power

If there is no power or "Led" indicator on the power button, try plugging the power cable to a different power point. If still won't turn-on, try changing the power cable. If still no power. It only means the LCD is already deffective.

Hope this helps.

Won't power up. Press power button, turns green then orange.

Good day sir/maam, Hi, If the LCD is under warranty, use it, they will replace the LCD monitor for free. If not, you may need spend for a Power supply board, to repair one.

There are two boards usually found on an LCD monitor, one main board that controls the LCD screen, back light, inverter, controls and sound. the second board is the power supply board, which accepts mains voltages 90v-240v AC and convert them to DC to power the entire monitor.
If however you may bring it to a repair shop or dealer, they will replace the power board, and there you go. the monitor is done.

No indication of power to the unit. I opened the unit and removed the cable connecting the main board to the LCD controller board. I disconnected it from the LCD controller board side. When power is...

If you hear a flickering sound the power board is bad .However since you have found the lcd board to be faulty you might as well replace it.Look for it on line by part number.Or to save yourself some headache use a good board from a working monitor.
Good luck

Monitor is black, the blue lcd at the switch does not lite when switch is turned on. The internal fuse is ok. I tried to find a schmatic on I could check the power supply, no luck.

I have the same problem. Took it apart for troubleshooting. Found that if I disconnect the ribbon cable between the display driver circuit board and the LCD panel, I can turn on power and it will stay on. I can turn it on and off with the power switch. With the LCD panel cable connected, Power turns on (power light blinks) then apparently a fault with the LCD panel causes the power supply to shutdown. At this point the power switch does nothing. Now the big question is "Can you purchase a LCD panel?" If so, it probably costs more than a new monitor. Hope this was helpful.
